Favorite Movie Quotes: The Ghost and Mrs. Muir
"You can be much more alone with other people than you are by yourself, even if its people you love."
Goldie?
Unidentified, but I suspect this is a photo of Goldie, Rose's developmentally disabled daughter who died in her 20s. Don't know which one of Rose's husbands would've been the father.

Phone photo 3131
Been awhile since I have seen one of these repulsive things
A discarded portable dental floss thingie in the parking lot of the Tumwater, Washington Post Office. This looks like a pretty fancy one probably used by some hoit-de-la-freakin'-toit in their mouth and then thrown on the pavement for the rest of us to enjoy. Note the strand is broken, so they were quite vigorous in filing out those chunks of crap between their teeth.
Yeeech.

The Lyndon Baines Johnson Song
No President ever did more for civil rights
Than Lyndon Baines Johnson
No President ever did more for education
Than Lyndon Baines Johnson
No President ever did more in fighting poverty
Than Lyndon Baines Johnson
No President ever did more in promoting space exploration
Than Lyndon Baines Johnson
But it was the way he conducted the Vietnam War
That became his divided legacy
What a waste
The Zachary Taylor Song
Zachary Taylor was
The last elected Whig.
Known as "Old Rough and Ready"
His ego wasn't so big.
He didn't put on airs,
His sloppy clothes drew stares.
And if he hadn't died in office
The Civil Waaaaaaaaaaaaar
Would've started a decade earlier.

The Gerald Ford Song
Gerald Ford was a decent man
But wrong on every issue
But when it came to the First Lady, I'm a fan
And Betty, we still miss you!
