Favorite Movie Quotes: Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
"Let me tell you something. I owe you nothing! If you carried that bag a
million miles, you did what you are supposed to do! Because you brought
me into this world. And from that day you owed me everything you could
ever do for me like I will owe my son if I ever have another. But you
don't own me! You can't tell me when or where I'm out of line, or try to
get me to live my life according to your rules. You don't even know
what I am, Dad, you don't know who I am. You don't know how I feel, what
I think. And if I tried to explain it the rest of your life you will
never understand. You are 30 years older than I am. You and your whole
lousy generation believes the way it was for you is the way it's got to
be. And not until your whole generation has lain down and died will the
dead weight of you be off our backs! You understand, you've got to get
off my back."

An aging James Abbott mural in McCleary, Washington depicts a merchant at the McCleary Eyeball Store
When I was a kid in McCleary I recall you could buy a decent eyeball for only 50 cents, but those darn federal regulations came in with Nixon and before we knew it, eyeballs were no longer obtainable by us normal folk. And another local business went under. My memory tells me blue was more popular than brown.
There was also a McCleary Spleen Store, but I do not believe that has been celebrated as part of a historical mural.

"Booth! Ha! I'm no actor! Bustin' my leg on a stage so I can yell 'Down

These two boxes of shotgun shells were found in the middle of the road right in front of my house last week. One box was wide open with the shells scattered all over the street. Any kid could've picked this up. But I got it first and turned it over to the local police.
Morty Comix # 2383
Morty Comix # 2383 was constructed thusly: I took a toilet paper roll, made an incision, flattened out the tube, and drew images on both sides. Then, using clear packaging tape, returned the thin cardboard to the tube format.
I like this format. I'll probably use it again.
This one was deposited at a restaurant with a train theme in an area south of Shelton known as Taylor Towne. At first I placed it at a nice display they had, but then I felt guilty since I admired their originality and realized I am still learning boundaries in this cartoon bomb business so I moved it behind one of the pamphlets in the real estate brochure area in their lobby.

The furnace crashed and it still gets pretty cold and overcast up here in the wet Washington hills in early June. All four of my furry pointy-eared troublemakers are huddled on the couch in comfy blankets to stay warm.
