Fifteen Heart Attacks, p. 20-21, by Mike Hill!
The Fifteen Heart Attacks online jam lives on! One of my favorite ever cartoonists, Mike Hill, who lives in Western Pennsylvania (a part of the country I have learned to love), contributed the following. Thank you Mike for climbing aboard!
Morty Comix # 2691
Dreamer, Buster, and Hettie seem unconcerned as I toss in Morty Comix # 2691 as an extra bonus as part of an order I got this weekend for original art (from Storm Warnings) and a packet of vintage City Limits Gazette issues. The whole package is headed Back East.

While the East Coast has turned into an icebox, the West Coast starts to see the signs of early spring.
But then more often than not we get fooled and snow falls on new blooms.

Hey, you draw cartoons, you can letter!
And so that's how I got roped into the pencils for this "Go Hawks!" sign for the Seattle Seahawks fans at my workplace. I don't even like football but I do like the way the Superbowl is cheering up my fellow residents of perpetual overcast in the dead of winter here. Sort of ironic this is my most recent piece of public art!
Isn't it interesting that the two teams at the Superbowl are from the only two states that legalized marijuana? Why is no one mentioning that? Curious.

Morty Comix # 2690
Morty Comix # 2690 was left in a spot that is somewhat significant in the history of comic art. The College Activities Building (CAB) on the campus of The Evergreen State College was home to the campus newspaper, The Cooper Point Journal, during the era when staff included cartoonists Matt Groening, Lynda Barry, Charles Burns, Jim Chupa, Flicky Ford, T.J. Simpson, and yours truly, among others.
The exact location of the 1970s CPJ office has since been part of a giant remake. The present area is filled with offices for student organizations. Even the outside looks different, including some kind of extension with wood panel siding.
I left Morty Comix # 2690 behind a decorative wall panel, which back in the 1970s would've been on the left hand of the entrance to the CPJ offices.

For Rent, Montesano, Washington
I sure hope they are not expecting a huge rental fee for that vehicle
Morty Comix # 2689
Morty Comix # 2689 was slid behind a sign at the McCleary, Washington Post Office. There are currently no less than 4 Morty Comix hidden in this place at present. All of them are within the borders of the 2nd photo of the Post Office. Morty's P.O. Box is 2nd from the bottom on the righthand border of the 3rd photo of the Post Office.
