Morty Comix # 2286
During a visit to one of the Timberland Regional Library branches I was grazing through the latest issue of The Western Horseman and decided to leave Morty Comix # 2286 inside as a special supplement. My Dad subscribed to this periodical for over 40 years and this title was an icon at our house.

Morty Comix # 2284
Morty Comix # 2284 was tucked behind the menu insert of a fancy restaurant in Olympia, Washington, a place apparently filled with state legislators and lobbyists. I took my Mom out for lunch yesterday and let her pick the establishment where she wanted to dine.
I wonder how long it will take for someone to find it?
Favorite Movie Quotes: Absolute Power

Morty Comix # 2283 was tacked up on the bulletin board of the Post Office right here in little old McCleary, Washington
Favorite Movie Quotes: About Schmidt
"Relatively soon, I will die. Maybe in 20 years, maybe tomorrow, it doesn't matter. Once I am dead and everyone who knew me dies too, it will be as though I never existed. What difference has my life made to anyone. None that I can think of. None at all."

Morty Comix # 2281
Morty Comix # 2281 was left at Burgerville in Vancouver, Washington.
Burgerville is chain in the Portland area. It started in Vancouver in 1961 and was then known as Burgerville USA. I always looked forward to going there when I visited my cousins in Vancouver in the 1960s.
Today it still thrives I'm happy to say! And although the decor remains charmingly JFK era retro, the business has grown into a fairly progressive organization, as evidenced by the french fry wrapping I have scanned. But I wish they would return to being known as Burgerville USA on the sign. It has a nice ring to it.
