Bill Kossack's Clay Geerdes Website inspired me to dig through my own bits of paper around here and assemble this scrapbook. The concluding memorial I scanned was originally published in, I think, Cartoon Loonacy and perhaps White Buffalo Gazette. It pretty much ties the whole scrapbook together.
Steve - Thanks for digging thru your archives and posting all this. I got a real surge of nostalgia looking at it. That photo of you me together is a real treasure to me. Wish I didn't have to work that day and couldn't spend more time together.
That was a fun day and the only time I ever saw Clay (or you!) in person. It was just a week or two after your big 1989 quake and everyone in Berkeley/Oakland seemed a little on edge and extra aware. We'll get another chance to meet, I bet. I'd like to compare our notes on Lynn Hansen some time.
